“We enjoyed our stay but felt that a few homey amenities would really make a difference, especially considering the price: reading lamps, quality tp and kleenex, larger bath towels, woodstove prepared for use, smaller pots and pans and plates in kitchen, safety mats in tub/shower plus grab bars, lap blankets. The loosely placed concrete that constituted the walkway to the hot tub did not seem up to code.”

For future guests, here’s what’s provided: two lamps per bed in three of the four bedrooms, a lamp in the living room, and lamps at the bedroom work desks. Lap blankets are on the living room couch, with extras in the hallway closet. Bathroom have non-slip bath mats under the sink, and we stock 2-ply toilet paper. The wood stove is cleaned regularly, and we supply lighters, kindling paper, and complimentary firewood. We keep the wood outside to prevent bugs from getting into the house but are happy to put some inside with advanced notice if moving firewood is a concern for your party. Guest safety is a priority for us, so we’re taking another look at the hot tub walkway. We appreciate you bringing it to our attention. If anything is ever missing during a stay, please message us.
